Sounds of Cambridge Street Collective

A Year of Global Energy Across Our Food Halls

At Cambridge Street Collective, we’ve launched a new monthly series celebrating global sounds, flavours and cultural moments. This will be a year-long journey through music, movement, food and shared experience. Every month will look completely different.

If you’re searching for live music at Cambridge Street Collective, this is where you’ll find it, woven into a wider cultural story that shifts every month. And this is only the beginning. Future events are already lined up, each exploring a different cultural moment, tradition, or creative expression.

This Month’s Theme:

Sounds of Sheffield

Freshers, this one’s for you!

Save the date: 27th September, 1 pm–5 pm. Come down for an afternoon of live music, good food and great vibes!

We’ll be joined by Daz and Matt Hook Music, bringing you acoustic covers of your favourite Sheffield indie bands, plus a few originals.

And the best part? Every one of our Food Partners and the bar will be offering 10% off for students! Just show your valid student ID.

So, whether you’re new to Sheffield or just looking for a chilled afternoon with your mates, come along, grab some food, enjoy the music and get to know your new favourite spot!

Food, Flavour and Summer Energy

Of course, it wouldn’t be us without food. Across Cambridge Street Collective, you can enjoy dishes from over 20 Food Partners, each bringing their own flavours, stories and culinary traditions to the table. Whether you’re grabbing something quick between performances or settling in for a long afternoon, there’s always something new to try.

And with summer in full swing, our outdoor terrace becomes part of the experience too: our two outdoor terraces that overlook the heart of Sheffield, as well as a large outdoor courtyard at the front of the building, so you can explore our events and soak up the sun too! We will be promoting our Kids Eat Free deal through until September, so that means with every adult meal purchased from the same kitchen, your child can enjoy a meal for free.

Everything we’re building is designed to be easy for everyone to enjoy: no barriers, no exclusivity, just great experiences that feel open, inviting, and part of everyday life.

Why This Series Matters

Culture moves.

It evolves, surprises, connects and brings people together in ways that feel effortless.

This series is our way of giving that movement a home.

Month by month, we’re creating spaces where people can discover something new. Maybe it’s a sound they’ve never heard before, a flavour they didn’t expect to love, a workshop that sparks curiosity, or a performance that shifts the energy of the whole room.

It’s about celebrating creativity in all its forms and making our food halls places where everyone feels welcome to explore.

This series is a celebration of the cultures that shape our cities, the talent that keeps them moving, and the communities that make every single one of our food halls feel like home.Come for the food, stay for the music, and be part of something that grows, shifts and surprises every month.
